PhenoPath is looking to hire a full-time Clinical Molecular Biologist.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Clinical Molecular Biologist will provide hands-on development, coordination, performance, and validation of molecular pathology tests for use in both clinical diagnostic and biopharmaceutical research settings, in close consultation with PhenoPath Pathologists. The position will focus on molecular tests, involving both PCR based and in situ hybridization techniques, including FISH, which complement the tissue-based Immunohistochemistry studies performed at PhenoPath. The Clinical Molecular Biologist reports to the Program Manager of Molecular Pathology.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Ph.D. with post-doctoral training and strong skills in current molecular biology techniques and method development. Candidates should have excellent problem-solving skills, ability to think strategically and build consensus, exceptional organization and prioritization skills, and excellent oral and written communication required. Candidate must be self-motivated.
