Quality Control Analyst III

  • Perform day to day In-house QC analysis in a GMP environment.
  • Review all raw materials and finished product QC data.
  • Initiations and revisions of SOPs, Specifications and Operation Procedures and Test Methods.
  • Generate stability calendars.
  • Maintain stability chambers and respective product pulls from stability calendars.
  • Maintain safety compliance such as OSHA in the QC laboratory.
  • Initiating and recommend purchases of supplies and equipment and enforcing laboratory GMPs.
  • For new product candidates, develop and execute:
    1. Test method validation protocols and reports.
    2. Quality test protocols and reports to support product development.
    3. Stability protocols and reports.
    4. Method transfer protocols and reports.
  • Provide regular assistance to logistics and other Quality functions.

Requirements include:

  1. Analytical development experience.
    • Instrumental analysis, particularly
      • Liquid Chromatographic techniques.
      • Particle sizing/counting techniques.
      • Spectroscopy.
      • Microscopy.
      • Thermo analysis.
    • Designing study protocols per FDA and ICH guidelines, include analytical method validations.
  2. Ability to identify technical problems and offer solutions during the execution of methods and/or protocols.
  3. Must be detail oriented team player with excellent written & oral communication skills. Strong computer skills with Word, Excel, and Access required.

Education background:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience. BS or MS in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
  • Must be familiar with current laboratory cGMPs.
