Materials Supervisor

Dendreon Corporation is a publicly held biotechnology company developing therapeutic vaccines, monoclonal antibodies and small molecule candidates for the treatment of cancer and other diseases.

We are seeking a Materials Supervisor to join our Materials Management team. This position reports to the Manager of Production Planning Inventory Control and supervises the planning & efficient materials flow of controlled-parts inventory to ensure availability to meet all sources of demand. The Materials Supervisor will establish and maintain appropriate inventory levels, identify resources needed to support forecast volumes and work with appropriate staff to adjust capacity where appropriate. In addition, this position will supervise the inventory control & shipping/receiving functions to ensure all activities meet corporate and FDA guidelines, procedures, and regulations.

Candidate must have Minimum 3-5 years materials experience in a cGMP Warehousing and Manufacturing environment. Minimum of 2 years planning using an MRP/ERP system. CPIM certification strongly preferred. Familiarization with FDA and ISO9000 standards. Strong communications skills to support extensive cross-departmental contacts and problem resolution. Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and report writing skills.
