Internship, Protein Assay

Dendreon Corporation is a publicly held biotechnology company developing therapeutic vaccines, monoclonal antibodies and small molecule candidates for the treatment of cancer and other diseases.

The intern will work in the Protein Process Development Department and will assist in the development of new assays. The successful candidate will also perform established assays of protein at various stages of purification. Methods to be used include reverse phase and size exclusion HPLC, ELISA, gel electrophoresis and Western blots. This temporary, up to full-time position will be for a period of six months.

Requires a high school diploma plus college coursework and lab experience in biochemistry or a related field.
