If you are a scientific researcher with experience in doing pre-clinical research in the area of ADME and are interested in working with a fast growing company that is building a strong pipeline of pharmaceutical products in multiple stages of development, then consider this opportunity with ICOS Corporation.

Responsibilities

You will work closely with project development teams to support our Preclinical Department in meeting significant challenges in the areas of pharmacokinetics and drug metabolism. Responsibilities include designing and interpreting in vitro and in vivo studies, which will evaluate the adsorption, distribution, metabolism and elimination of compounds taken forward into early clinical development. You will also interact with the research discovery team to identify novel therapeutics for the treatment of inflammation, neurologic diseases and cancer.

Requirements

  • PhD with a few years of pharmacology, pharmacokinectics and drug metabolism experience within the pharmaceutical industry or academic setting.
  • Significant experience with in vivo pharmacokinetic, mass balance, biodistribution and metabolism studies.
  • Experience in the design and interpretation of in vivo pharmacokinetic, adsorption/biodistribution/elimination studies is essential.
  • Experience in PK/PD analyses (including WINNONLIN, or KInetica, ADAPT, NONMEN and statistical programming.
  • Strong background with analytical instrumentation (LC, LC-MS, LC MS/MS) and assay validation.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, rapidly growing environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
