Research Associate II/III

Xcyte Therapies, Inc., a Seattle-based biotechnology company, is developing and commercializing novel cell-based or cellular therapeutic products that harness the power of the immune system to treat cancer and many infectious diseases.

As a member of the Assay Methods Development group, the primary focus for this position is development of unique methods to analyze T cells for immunotherapy.

Responsibilities include cell culture and staining, flow cytometry, and FACS analysis.

Requirements include 2-4+ years experience in the laboratory, preferably in the biotechnology industry setting. The successful candidate will also possess excellent analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication skills along with professionalism, flexibility, enthusiasm, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple duties and tasks. Applicants with prior experience working with functional cellular assays and/or assay validation will be given first consideration.
