Scientist, Bio-Molecular Analysis

Considering a career in clinical research? We have an exciting opportunity as a Scientist, Bio-Molecular Analysis at our Bothell, WA location.

This position requires the application of a number general biochemistry and molecular biology procedures to the testing and characterization of biopharmaceuticals. Current molecular biology techniques are applied to the genetic stability analysis of cell banks manufactured for the expression of recombinant products. A variety of basic biochemistry analytical techniques, e.g. HPLC, mass spectrometry, protein derivatization, peptide mapping, glycoprotein/carbohydrate analysis, electrophoresis, enzymology, amino acid analysis and ELISA are applied to protein/biopharmaceutical testing and characterization. Other responsibilities include writing and revising Standard Operating Procedures. All work is performed in a GLP/cGMP environment, which requires careful attention to documentation and compliance to regulatory guidelines.

The Scientist position requires at least a B.S. degree in biochemistry, molecular biology or related degree and 5+ years of related experience. A demonstration of scientific writing ability is a must.
