Director, Quality Assurance (GLP)

We are seeking a Director, Quality Assurance to provide expertise to heighten the level of auditing services provided by our QA team. The Director will ensure regulatory compliance during the conduct of preclinical studies and oversee management of the QA team. This position is responsible for development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance systems and standards based upon GLP regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Overall management of the Quality Assurance team.
  • Direct the auditing of preclinical studies to assure that the facilities, equipment, personnel, methods, practices, records, and controls are compliant with GLP regulations.
  • Direct the auditing, summarization of findings, and review of appropriate corrective actions taken to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Manage resources, schedules, and critical QA planning processes.
  • Represent SNBL at all FDA and other regulatory agency inspections.

Requirements:

  • BS or MS in scientific discipline.
  • 7+ years related experience and/or training in Quality Assurance or Regulatory Affairs within a CRO, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical environment desired.
  • 5+ years senior management experience.
  • SQA, RQAP-GLP certification or equivalent desired.
  • Experience with multiple FDA facility inspections.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
