The Sr. Biomedical Engineer will participate in implantable device development. This position involves product advanced development, engineering & design verification.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Implantable device development, performance verification and documentation.
  • Advanced development investigations including both in-vitro and in-vivo studies.
  • Material selection/process development activities.
  • Design verification testing.
  • Sterilization process development.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum BS Bioengineering, Materials Science or Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum 7 years engineering experience.
  • Strong medical device consumables and/or implantable device product development experience.
  • Working knowledge of adhesives and bio-compatible materials.
  • Biocompatibility and materials selection experience.

Preferences:

  • MS Engineering.
  • Medical device animal testing coordination experience.
  • Manufacturing process development experience.
  • Medical device sterilization experience.
  • Disposable packaging development, shelf life testing and verification activities.
  • Medical device or startup experience is desirable.
