Clinical Research Manager

Description:

This is a key position within the Clinical Development group that is responsible for the effective personnel management and individual development of CRA's and other clinical staff. This position will also be responsible for review/revision/writing of Clinical SOPs, as well as department training plans.

Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Provide development and training for Clinical Research Associates, Clinical Trial Administrators, and Administrative Assistants within the department.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance for the Sr. CRAs within the department.
  • Develop and revise departmental SOPs.
  • Participate in the development and tracking of the Clinical department budget.

Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in scientific discipline or commensurate experience.
  • 8 years experience in clinical trials, pharmaceutical industry preferred.
  • 2 years of personnel management experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of GCP and ICH Guidelines.
  • Proven ability to lead and participate in a team environment.
  • Strong and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Expertise in pulmonary diseases preferred.
