Location: Seattle, WA

The Senior Biostatistician provides statistical input into clinical trial development, performs statistical analysis of clinical trial data, and collaborates on the reporting of clinical trial results. This individual will have the knowledge and experience to exercise independent judgment as a senior level Biostatistician.

This position will perform or ensure performance of the following tasks: Collaborate with Medical Directors on clinical trial designs and development plans. Perform power calculations to determine appropriate trial size. Design and write statistical sections for clinical trial protocols. Provide input to data management on database and CRF design. Design and write statistical analysis plans for clinical trials. Write statistical sections of regulatory submissions. Participate in project analysis with clinical, regulatory and data management. Design and conduct statistical analysis of clinical data. Represent ZymoGenetics statistical position to regulatory agencies.

Requirements:

Ph.D. in Statistics/Biostatistics and a minimum of 5 years biotechnology/pharmaceutical experience or M.S. in Statistics/Biostatistics and a minimum of 10 years biotechnology/pharmaceutical experience is required. Must have excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Must be familiar with ICH guidelines and FDA requirements. Proficiency with SAS procedures, familiarity with SAS programming language is essential.
