Growth, innovation, and expertise abound at MDS Pharma Services. We are currently seeking a CNS Director to join our team of Pre-clinical professionals in Bothell, Washington.
In this role you will assume responsibility for planning and directing research and development activities, identifying new business opportunities, and for formulating both current and long-range plans and objectives. Will perform as Study Director/Principal Investigator on studies, develop project strategies, interpret results, and develop and administer budgets, schedules, and performance objectives. Will select methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results on projects and lead and mentor a team of scientific professionals through planning, assigning, directing, and appraising their work.
The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in a neuroscience discipline and a minimum of ten years academic and/or professional research experience including 3+ years of management experience with a demonstrated ability to direct the activities of research teams. Specific background in neurodegeneration and/or pain research is highly desirable. The incumbent must also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to write and present scientific papers.
