Research Technician

Illumigen Biosciences is a Seattle-based genomics company dedicated to developing new products to treat disease using its proprietary Replicated Natural ResistanceTM technologies. Illumigen is seeking an experienced Research Technician to validate and perform a variety of in vivo pre-clinical pharmacological models. They will also perform associated in vitro assays that are relevant to the animal study. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications: B.S. or M.S. in biological sciences and/or at least 3 years of laboratory experience with animals in a research environment. Experience with routine animal husbandry, handling, dosing, and necropsy is essential; immunohistochemistry, histology, cell culture and experience working with viruses is desirable. Must be computer proficient (Windows), possess good written and oral communication skills, and show attention to detail.
