Research Associate, Bioanalytical

This newly-created position will be part of a group responsible for setting up and maintaining a clinical and GLP testing laboratory within our bioanalytical development group. Responsibilities include: Under the guidance of a staff scientist and a Quality Assurance representative, the position will be focused on getting our bioanalytical development laboratory to a compliant standard for clinical and pre-clinical GLP testing. Key duties will be the writing and performance of standard operating procedures for sample handling, and laboratory and equipment maintenance as well as bioanalytical testing.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a BS or Masters degree in biochemistry, chemistry or biology with a minimum of 2 years experience in a bioanalytical GLP laboratory in biotechnology or the pharmaceutical industry. Clear knowledge of the GLPs and one or more years of hands-on expertise with ELISAs is a must. Demonstrated team work and strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
