Growth, innovation, and expertise abound at MDS Pharma Services. We are currently seeking a Technical Director at our Bothell, WA location.
In this role you will explore and explain Metabolism Services to clients, identify client needs, and persuade clients that our Metabolism group can best serve their needs through quality research, scientific knowledge, and superior service. You will convey superior knowledge of drug discovery and development processes, negotiate scientific proposals, capture business, close deals, and sustain contact with clients. You will build strong, personal long-term relationships with key clients, communicate technical/scientific challenges that arise during the execution of Metabolism projects, and retain client goodwill. Will work closely with Operational and Business Development teams to ensure contracts and quotes are completed to the client’s satisfaction.
The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of drug discovery and development and be able to identify and optimize leads. Will be well organized, computer literate, and possess strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills. Must have strong negotiating skills, be bottom-line oriented, and have a history of demonstrated autonomy. Our ideal candidate will have a PhD in a related discipline and operational and/or scientific leadership experience in non-clinical DMPK services.
