Targeted Genetics Corporation is a Seattle-based biotechnology company developing gene therapy products for the treatment of acquired and inherited diseases. We are adding motivated professionals to capitalize on our leadership position in the field.
We are currently seeking outstanding applicants for a Research Associate position in the Product Discovery Group to work on generation of new gene therapy product candidates. Duties involve performing tissue/cell culture experiments, vectors construction, and DNA, RNA and protein analyses.
Successful candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a Biological Science-related discipline, extensive training in biochemistry, virology, cell and molecular biology and at least 5 years of relevant working experience. Applicants must have strong motivation, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple priorities.
